We know that constructing a new home or even remodeling your current home can be one of the biggest endeavors of your life.  We want to make sure you are comfortable with every decision that is made.  With our Open Book Policy there is always full transparency.  From that foundation of trust your construction experience can be a pleasurable and satisfying experience.

 

STEP 1

CONSULTATION MEETING

Once you contact us, we will set up a meeting. At that time we will discuss your vision, an appropriate budget, and talk about how the King Construction’s building process works.  With our extensive experience in the building business we have learned that it is the relationship between you, the owner and King Construction that is the most important us.  We want you to be happy.

STEP 2

CONCEPTION AND DESIGN PHASE

The conception and design phase is when we look at your ideas and make a plan.  If you already have Architectural plans, we will review them with you.  If you need an Architect, we will select one that fits your vision of what you see your home looking like.  If an architect is not needed, we will come and spend some time at your site to become familiar with your property.  This will help us with developing a time line and to help determine the costs.  We can then make conceptual drawings.

STEP 3

BUILDING PERMITS

Once your architectural or conceptual drawings are complete, they will then be submitted to the City of Malibu or the County of Los Angeles for approval.  After the city or county, all depending on where you live, approves your drawings, you will then get your construction permits!

STEP 4

CONSTRUCTION

When building your home, you will have the expertise of King Construction, our Subcontractors and consultants on your side. We develop the schedule and landmarks to fit your time frame.  We are here to make your Dream Home a reality.
